MX-Maint

How it works

How MX-Maint runs maintenance, from the first machine to KPIs

Nine steps through the whole maintenance lifecycle: what you set up first, how a work order is created and carried out, and how you learn from the data.

Step 01

Structure and assets

It starts with a digital picture of your plant. Sites, production lines, machines and components form a tree, and every asset gets technical data, documents and a QR code.

  • Tree of sites, lines, machines and components
  • Technical data, serial numbers and manufacturers
  • Documents, manuals and photos attached to the asset
  • QR and barcode labels for quick identification in the field

Step 02

Maintenance plans

For each asset you define what is maintained, when and how. Plans trigger by calendar, running hours or counter readings and open work orders on their own.

  • Intervals by calendar, running hours or counters
  • Checklists and work steps for every plan
  • Preventive orders opened automatically
  • Calendar showing the team's workload

Step 03

Breakdown request

When something stops, the request comes in wherever it is easiest: portal, web, mobile, by voice or email. No phone calls, notes or lost messages.

  • Customer portal for reporting issues
  • Reporting from mobile with a photo
  • Work orders filled in by voice
  • Request status tracking
Voice work orders

Step 04

Work order and assignment

A request or plan becomes a work order with asset, job type, priority and due date. It is assigned to a team or technician, and the notification goes out right away.

  • Priorities and due dates
  • Assignment to a team or technician
  • Push and email notifications
  • Calendar and overview of all open orders

Step 05

Work in the field

The technician works from the phone: opens the order by scanning a QR code, goes through the steps, records readings and photos. It works offline too, and data syncs once the connection is back.

  • Work steps and checklists
  • Counter and measuring instrument readings
  • Photos and comments on the order
  • Works without an internet connection
Checklists and inspections

Step 06

Spare parts and purchasing

Parts used are taken from stock directly on the order. When stock drops below the minimum, purchasing is alerted and a purchase order goes for approval.

  • Stock levels per warehouse
  • Parts consumption on the work order
  • Minimum stock levels and alerts
  • Purchase orders with an approval flow
Spare parts inventory

Step 07

Sign and close

The order is signed digitally and closed with time, parts and cost. Everything stays on record for audits.

  • Digital signature on the order
  • Time, parts and cost per order
  • Print or PDF of the work order
  • Audit trail of every change

Step 08

Reports and KPIs

MTTR, preventive share, downtime and costs calculate themselves from closed orders, per asset, line or team.

  • Dashboard with charts
  • Downtime by production line
  • Costs per asset and order
  • Configurable reports
Reporting and analytics

Step 09

Continuous improvement

Every asset's history shows what keeps recurring. Based on that you adjust intervals and checklists and plan replacements, so maintenance gets better over time.

  • Complete asset history
  • Failure causes and symptoms
  • Lifecycle costs
  • Plans adjusted to real data
